Sennheiser Evolution Series

Sennheiser have recently developed the Evolution Series radio microphone systems which present a range of features not previously found in units of this price bracket.

Evolution 100/300 Series

The 100 and 300 series offers either 4 or 8 presets from the available 1280 UHF frequencies.  The diversity receiver has adjustable squelch, audio and RF level displays and facilities for naming channels (300 series).  The audio output is via a balanced XLR or 1/4" jack.

The transmitter is 30mW in RF power and takes a single 9v battery which runs for approx 8 hours.  Both the belt-pack and the handheld transmitter have variable audio gain and mute facilities.  

The belt-pack transmitter is available with an omni, cardioid or headset microphone and have been modified by Stageworks to utilize the more common TA4-F 'mini XLR' connector.  

The handheld transmitter can be specified in either dynamic or condenser versions, with a further choice of capsules offering cardioid or  super-cardioid pickup patterns.

Shure UC UHF Systems

 

The Shure UC Series features over 100 fully selectable frequencies, and the ability to use 16 systems simultaneously.  

The belt-pack system has a TA-4F "mini XLR' input connector, remote mute facility, battery gauge, two position attenuator and adjustable gain.  Battery is 9v and life is approx 8 hours.

Available accessories include Countryman Isomax headset mics, passive and active antenna splitters, directional antenna and instrument input cables.
